This was an interesting article and truly a sign of our times. One thought I would add is that folks are often on information overload with 24 hour news, movies, sports, computer social networking, etc. - that besides attending to basic necessities - reading any book, especially the Good Book, must compete with other habit-forming interests. It was encouraging to see the UMC Disciple Bible Study highlighted in the article. My personal prayer is that this study will bring me to the Word and keep me closer to God in this busy, stressful world.
